AI shopping & MCP access
Young Baby supports compatible AI assistants through Model Context Protocol (MCP). Assistants can look up our public products, designs, sizes, prices and current stock information.
Connect a compatible assistant

Public product search and product details are available without signing in. Add this endpoint to a compatible MCP client. Clients must be configured manually; this page does not automatically connect every assistant.
Find the available design and size
Use search_products to find a product, then get_product to read its variations. Product variations are paginated: read every variation_page through total_variation_pages. The first page may contain only sold-out choices even when later pages contain stock.
Check each variation’s purchasable and stock_status together. Choose the exact variation ID for the customer’s design and size. Prices and stock can change; the actual cart and checkout verify availability again.
Personal shopping and your orders
A trusted client must first be registered by Young Baby before personal shopping or order access can be used. Registration specifies the client’s exact OAuth callback and permitted scopes. Contact us to arrange an integration; an unregistered client cannot immediately use personal checkout.
After client registration, you sign in on the Young Baby website and approve the requested access for your own account. Never give an assistant your account password, access token or card details.

The assistant selects your exact variation and quantity, obtains WooCommerce’s current delivery options, taxes, discounts and payment methods, then presents the quote for your confirmation. A changed or expired quote must be refreshed. After a confirmed submission, continue through the trusted payment URL where required. Creating an order does not mean payment has completed.
You can review and disconnect authorized clients on Connected assistants. Guest-order lookup, arbitrary order cancellation and refunds are not offered through this version. Our existing store policies still apply.
For integration developers
OAuth discovery: protected-resource metadata and authorization-server metadata. The issuer is https://youngbaby.net/yb-mcp; the resource is the MCP endpoint above. Registered public clients use Authorization Code with PKCE S256 and an exact callback. Dynamic client registration is not enabled.
Production public discovery, product lookup and rejection of unauthenticated order access were verified using MCP 2025-11-25. Codex CLI 0.159.2 completed customer authorization, denial and disconnection in our test environment. Production customer connections and other clients require their own compatibility check.
